The best thing about staying at an all inclusive resort during our recent trip to Barbados is the unlimited supply of food and drinks… all day every day!
Besides my love for strawberry flavoured drinks…and my husband, my love for food is unparalleled.
In case you didn’t see my last post (see here), we stayed at the wonderful Sandals Barbados resort. The resort offered an array of international cuisines, such as Caribbean, Italian, Indian, a French-style patisserie, sushi, a New York-style steakhouse, and more.
We tried to eat at a different restaurant every day so that we could experience as much as we could during our stay there. In case you are ever in Barbados, here is a breakdown of our food and drink recommendations.
Best Mealtime Experience: Kimonos
Kimonos is an engaging Japanese style restaurant. The meal was prepared right in front of us with the chef playing games with us while he cooked. It was also a great opportunity to meet other couples as seats are arranged on large tables centred around the chef. The whole idea is to make dinner fun and interactive which it certainly was! The vibe was really cool and I would definitely recommend this spot as a must-eat-at if you ever find yourself at Sandals Barbados.
Best Restaurant with a view: Bayside
Bayside is an outdoor restaurant with an impressive view of the pool and the beach. If you are looking for a laid back vibe and lots of people watching while you eat, this is a great place to go. The service was awesome (as it was everywhere on the island tbh)
Best Dessert Place: Cafe de Paris
This is a Parisian themed cafe that specializes in serving those with a sweet tooth. Again the best part is that its all inclusive, so you can literally pick up everything on the menu if your heart so desires.
Best place to get drinks: Everywhere 😉
You can literally get drinks anywhere on this resort.. you walk 5 steps and you arrive at a bar. The service was amazing and all the drinks I tried were yummy.
I was known as the girl with the camera taking pictures of every meal and drink. I’m surprised the pictures weren’t blurry with all the constant itis (and slight tipsiness) that I experienced in Barbados. As I said earlier, the food and drinks were simply amazing at Sandals Barbados. Here are a few more culinary pictures from our trip for you to enjoy.
I hope you enjoyed this post.. see you in the next one ?
